Was part of  the panel discussion on Anti Corruption  Tools to facilitate exchange amongst thought leaders on cross-cutting Collective Action themes featuring tried and tested regional initiatives as well as new and innovative approaches.

2023 : African Union -ECOSOCC -Citizens Forumn on Democracy &Digital Governance

 The discussions during the Forum addressed  the following topics:

•  Existing Normative frameworks: – Democracy & Digital Governance.

•  This session will look at existing normative frameworks in promoting democracy and digital governance.

• How international frameworks for human rights and international humanitarian law ensure that human rights are at the centre of the use of ICTs and the internet in crises, conflicts and disasters?

•  How international and national legal and policy frameworks are conducive for rapid tech deployment in times of crisis and rolling democracy and digital governance

• Look at the digital transformation strategy for Africa (2020-2030),

• Policy and Regulatory Initiative for Digital Africa (PRIDA), the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), the African Union Financial Institutions (AUFIs, the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM); and the Free Movement of Persons (FMP) to support the development of a Digital Single Market (DSM) for Africa, as part of the integration priorities of the African Union.

2023:NATO Youth Summit | Next Gen Freedom & Security  

A historic event will took place  in Brussels, Washington, DC, and online. The summit explores topics including disinformation, climate change, emerging technologies and national defense. U.S. security The NATO Youth Summit provided young participants with the opportunity to engage, build links, enhance understanding, exchange views, and explore how NATO addresses challenges that the young generation sees as critical to their security.

2023 :  Darkwebathon - Anti-Human Trafficking Intelligence Initiative (partial )

Focus : Pig butchering and collecting from emails, services, IP’s, Domains, Crypto wallets and DNS server information and details around the activity that can be gleaned from any other open sources. Qlue forensics tools used and the Crypto Fusion Centre from  Blockchain Intelligence.

 

2022 -2023 : E -Government Procurement Monitoring System for  Anti Corruption 

Co-Development of an e government procurement monitoring tool  serving as an Anti Corruption initiative in Southern & Eastern African countries  to make the government  procurement process open to the public and allow citizen participation in the monitoring , deterrence and investigation of fraud ,corruption and bribery

2023 :The Knoble Scam Typologies’ Marketplace Scams Roundtable

 

The Knoble is a network of financial services professionals working with law enforcement to stop Human Crime—scams, human trafficking, child exploitation, and elder abuse.

Focus Area : Involved in the suggested changes to the payment and ‘harvesting’ scams defined in The Knoble’s Scam Typologies and confirm agreement on Scam  typologies, and then move on to the bulk of our project which is represented by the second workstream  thus operationalization focus
